Logs double-double in victory
Cunningham recorded 23 points (8-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds, 14 assists and five steals over 39 minutes during Tuesday's 136-127 win over the Kings.
Analysis
Cunningham dropped his second-highest assist total of the season in the win, marking his 14th time with 10-plus assists during the 2025-26 campaign. Although his scoring totals have lagged a bit during December, his season stats are still as strong as ever. The star point guard has averaged 26.4 points, 9.4 assists, 6.4 rebounds and 1.6 steals over 27 games.

Fouls out with 14 points
Cunningham registered 14 points (6-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, nine assists and one steal over 26 minutes before fouling out of Monday's 110-102 win over the Trail Blazers.
Analysis
Cunningham's scoring total fell well below his projections Monday evening, and his early exit left a gaping hole in the team's defensive scheme. The Trail Blazers rallied to a lead after his sixth foul, illustrating Cunningham's intangible value as a defender. His teammates ultimately prevailed with a late run led by Jalen Duren and Ausar Thompson.

Analysis
This was the third triple-double of the season for Cunningham and the 14th of his career. The 24-year-old is hitting career highs in points (27.0), dimes (9.2) and rebounds (6.4) this season, and he ranks inside the top 15 in eight-category leagues.

Double-doubles with nine dimes
Cunningham recorded 29 points (12-30 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, nine assists and one block over 45 minutes during Thursday's 116-114 overtime loss to the Mavs.
Analysis
Despite Cunningham's game-high 29 points, the Pistons weren't able to earn a victory, and they dropped their sixth game of the season. As a team, the Pistons struggled to convert their shots, with Detroit finishing 47-for-122 from the floor and 6-for-33 from distance in the two-point loss. They'll look to get things back on track Saturday with a favorable matchup against the Hornets.
