Edwards finished with 15 points (5-19 FG, 0-11 3Pt, 5-8 FT), 11 rebounds, eight assists and three steals in 43 minutes during Wednesday's 103-96 victory over the Lakers in Game 5 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Analysis
Although Rudy Gobert was the hero of the series-clinching win, Edwards still ended the night with the team's third-highest scoring total. His 15 points marked his lowest scoring total of the series, and his dreadful 0-for-11 night beyond the arc was the culprit. Minnesota's frontcourt carried the load by exploiting the Lakers' small-ball lineup, but the offense should shift back in Edwards' direction in the quarterfinals.

Erupts for game-high 43 in win
Edwards amassed 43 points (12-23 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 14-17 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and one block over 44 minutes during Sunday's 116-113 win over the Lakers in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Analysis
The fifth-year guard led all scorers on the afternoon as the Timberwolves pushed to within one win of advancing to the second round. Edwards has topped 20 points in all four games in the series so far, averaging 29.8 points, 7.8 boards, 5.8 assists, 4.0 threes and 0.8 steals.

Nudges triple-double in win
Edwards finished with 29 points (12-26 FG, 5-10 3Pt), eight rebounds, eight assists, one block and two steals over 42 minutes during Friday's 116-104 victory over the Lakers in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Analysis
Edwards did a little bit of everything, falling just short of his first triple-double of the season. He has now attempted at least 22 shots in all three playoff games, averaging 25.3 points to go with 7.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.7 three-pointers. Game 4 is scheduled for Sunday when the Timberwolves will look to take a dominant 3-1 series lead.
