But before we remind you of the events that have already been announced, we have more exciting news!

The Club Global Cup Arena is coming – And It’s Extra Special!

We’ve got something new to kick off the Club Global Cup. For the first time ever, we’re testing cash* rewards in Arena mode, and we want you to be the first to try it out!

Actual rewards may be awarded in cash or in ETH.

Here’s How to Play and Win:

1️⃣ Collect your Summer Edition card (you need at least one in your lineup). No Essence required to enter. Summer Edition designs bring the heat with sizzling summer-inspired styles!*

2️⃣ The Arena (Limited and Rare only) is available for all 7 Game Weeks of the Club Global Cup, so you can play with your Summer Edition / PSG Rising cards throughout the tournament.

3️⃣ Create your lineup and join the Arena—fill the rest of your lineup with your best In-season or Classic cards. Yes you can submit up to 4 of your very best and beloved Classic Cards!

4️⃣ Choose between between two Arena sizes:

• 20 players in the Arena for a more intimate showdown. 
• 100 players in the Colosseum for more competition and bigger rewards.

Compete for Cash Rewards in the Arena!

• Limited: A total of up to $35 in cash prizes in standard Arenas and $95 in Diamond Arenas (Arenas with boosted rewards, like Golden Arenas), along with Essence and XP rewards.
  
• Rare: A total of up to $175 in cash prizes in standard and $475 in Diamond Arenas, in cash prizes, plus Essence.

Or, step up and compete into the Colosseum in Arenas with up to 100 Managers where the rewards are even bigger.

*Please note that there will be no Bundesliga Summer Edition cards. PSG Summer Edition cards will be available starting on Tuesday. However, PSG Rising Edition cards are also eligible for Arena lineups (instead of a Summer Edition card)

Competition Rules:

• Coverage: During the Club Global Cup period (7 consecutive Game Weeks), the Arena mode will exclusively cover the Club Global Cup competition. For example, the MLS, U21 and Gold Cup fixtures are not covered in the Arena.
  
• One Summer Edition Card Needed: Just one Summer Edition card required to enter.
  
• Cap 260: Push your limits with a 260 cap on player scores.
  
• You can submit up to 15 Arena lineups each Game Week per scarcity.
  
• There is ‘no anytime entry’ for this Arena format. You must submit your Arena lineups before the Game Week deadline.
  
  

This is a test to bring cash rewards to Arena mode, and we’re excited to see your strategies and hear your feedback.

Please note that as part of this test, Summer Edition cards will have a higher floor price than usual.  

As a bonus surprise, Summer Edition player cards will be rewarded in the All Star competitions in Game Week 86 (6-10th of June).

New Gameplay Feature: Lineup Bonuses

Exclusively for the Club Global Cup In-Season and Classic competitions (not Arena) we’re testing a new gameplay mechanic in the In-Season and Classic Club Global Cup competitions: Lineup Bonuses. Their purpose is to reward more variety and strategic depth in lineup building without imposing any restrictions.

Here’s how they work:

🔓 Cap Bonus – Earn a 5% lineup score bonus if your lineup stays under a 260 L15 cap.

🧩 Multi-Team Bonus – Earn a 3% bonus when your lineup includes no more than two players from the same club.

The goal? More appreciation for lineup variety on the leaderboards, more utility for lower-tier cards, and more paths to the top — without penalizing Managers who prefer sticking with their favorite clubs.

Yes, your club stacks are still competitive on the leaderboard (depending on the club, of course 😉).
