Doncic turned in his first 50-point game as a Laker and fell just one assist shy of a second straight triple-double. The 27-year-old was particularly sharp from beyond the arc, where he'd been converting at a clip of 35.5 percent in his previous five games entering Thursday's matchup. Doncic teamed up with Austin Reaves for a combined 62 points on a night the Lakers were without LeBron James (hip/foot). Doncic converted on just 33.3 percent of his triples, but his overall volume on the offensive end helped him to a third straight game of 30-plus points. The 27-year-old was also able to secure his first double-double since Jan. 30 with the help of an impressive all-around performance, which comes after he struggled in the assist column in his previous two outings.

Doncic put together another impressive performance Sunday, posting game highs in scoring and three-pointers made while matching a team high in rebounds. Despite leading the game in three-pointers made, Doncic missed more three-pointers (11) than any other player attempted for the game. Still, Doncic's performance adds to a string of stellar play, as he has averaged 32.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 1.8 steals in 34.5 minutes per contest over his last six appearances.
