Limited to start camp

Miami coach Erik Spoelstra said Monday that Richardson (shoulder) will be limited to start training camp this week, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.

Richardson suffered a right shoulder injury back in February and underwent surgery on March 6 to address the instability. He was originally expected to be ready for training camp, but the Heat are going to take a cautious approach early on. In 43 regular-season appearances in 2023-24, Richardson posted averages of 9.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.5 three-pointers and 0.6 steals across 25.7 minutes.
