28. November 2025
Questionable for Saturday
Kuminga (knees) will be listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Pelicans, Danny Emerman of SFStandard.com reports.
Analyse
Head coach Steve Kerr previously said Kuminga was "moving well" during a 5-on-5 scrimmage Wednesday, and it sounds like he's trending in the right direction. Presumably, Kuminga will warm up before a decision is made on his status. With Stephen Curry (quadriceps) sidelined, Kuminga could absorb some usage if he's able to get the green light Saturday.

Goes through 5-on-5 scrimmage
Head coach Steve Kerr said Kuminga (knee) was "moving well" during a 5-on-5 scrimmage and the team has a check-in scheduled for Friday, but there remains no timetable for his return, Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Analyse
Kuminga was assigned to the G League on Wednesday morning to participate in a scrimmage, and he was recalled by Golden State afterward. While the scrimmage seemingly went well, the young forward remains without a timetable for return. However, it's possible Friday's check-in could provide more clarity on when Kuminga is expected back. He's recovering from bilateral knee tendinitis, an issue that has sidelined him since Nov. 14.

Assigned to G League
Golden State assigned Kuminga (knee) to the G League's Santa Cruz Warriors on Wednesday, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Analyse
Kuminga is currently without a timetable to return, and the Warriors would like to see him get through a scrimmage before giving him the green light to suit up. He's not expected to see any live reps with Santa Cruz, to be clear.
23. November 2025
No timetable for return
Head coach Steve Kerr said Sunday that Kuminga (knee) didn't participate much in practice, and he isn't sure when the forward will play next, Sam Gordon of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. He has also been ruled out for Monday's game against the Jazz, according to Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area.
Analyse
Kuminga will miss his sixth consecutive game due to bilateral knee tendinitis, and Kerr said he's "not moving well," per Joseph Dycus of The Mercury News. Based on Kerr's comments, the 23-year-old can be considered week-to-week moving forward. With Kuminga sidelined, Moses Moody, Gui Santos and Buddy Hield are candidates for increased minutes.
