Questionable for Monday
Coach Nick Nurse said Embiid (knee) didn't practice Sunday and is questionable for Monday's game against the Bulls, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.
Analyse
In two games since the All-Star break, Embiid has totaled 29 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists in 58 minutes. He hasn't scored more than 30 points since Dec. 30 and has made only eight appearances since then. If Embiid is sidelined again, Guerschon Yabusele and Andre Drummond are candidates for increased roles.

Another poor showing Saturday
Embiid recorded 14 points (4-13 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and one block over 31 minutes during Saturday's 105-103 loss to the Nets.
Analyse
It was a poor showing by Embiid, who struggled for the second consecutive game after scoring just 15 points in Thursday's loss to Boston. Although the superstar big man has been productive with averages of 22.5 points, 8.7 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 0.8 blocks and 1.2 three-pointers in 32.0 minutes over his last six appearances, he's shooting just 42.7 percent from the floor and 25.0 percent from deep during this span. The 20-36 76ers are running out of time to make a serious playoff push in 2024-25, which could play a part in determining how much maintenance Embiid might get to rest his balky left knee down the stretch of the campaign.

Embiid (knee) recorded 15 points (3-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 9-9 FT), four assists and three rebounds across 27 minutes in Thursday's 124-104 loss to the Celtics.
Analyse
Embiid was held out of the 76ers' final game prior to the All-Star break Feb. 12 in Brooklyn due to left knee injury management, but he made his return to action for the team's first contest of the second half. Aside from cleaning up at the free-throw line, Embiid wasn't able to get much going offensively in the blowout loss, with his 33.3 percent mark from the field representing his third-worst shooting performance of the season. Shortly before the All-Star break, Embiid told Lisa Salters of ESPN that he might require another surgery on his left knee, but the 30-year-old appears set to continue playing even though he clearly hasn't been in top form this season. The 76ers will likely give Embiid frequent maintenance, and fantasy managers shouldn't count on him playing both legs of back-to-back sets at any point this season.

Prior to the NBA All-Star break, Embiid didn't play in the loss to the Nets in Brooklyn. However, he will return to the floor when the final stretch of the 2024-25 campaign resumes Thursday against the defending NBA champions. The superstar big man has played well as of late, scoring 27 or more points in three of the last four games, including a 29-point triple-double in the Feb. 4 win against the Mavericks.
