Schroder racked up 21 points (9-21 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 1-3 FT), five rebounds and three assists over 32 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 113-99 loss to the Thunder.
Analyse
The 21 points led the Kings, as no Sacramento starter managed more than DeMar DeRozan's 17, and three members of the starting five couldn't even reach double digits. Schroder has topped 20 points in back-to-back games, and in three contests since shifting to the second unit, he's averaging 19.0 points, 5.7 boards, 4.7 assists and 3.0 threes in 31.7 minutes a game.

Season-high five threes off bench
Schroder contributed 22 points (8-13 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, five assists and one steal across 35 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 123-110 loss to the Spurs.
Analyse
Back in his accustomed bench role for the second straight game, Schroder set a new season high in made threes while delivering 20-plus points for the first time since Nov. 1. Coach Doug Christie has used the same starting lineup twice in a row only two times so far this season, so Schroder could be back in the starting five the next time the roster gets put in the blender, but his production from the second unit could encourage Christie to leave him where he is for now.

Losing starting job
Schroder will be replaced by Russell Westbrook in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Timberwolves, NBA reporter Chris Haynes reports.
Analyse
Schroder had started in each of Sacramento's first 12 games of the season, averaging 11.3 points, 6.0 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals on 38/30/85 shooting splits. But with the Kings having lost four straight games by at least 14 points, head coach Doug Christie is shaking up the starting lineup. It appears as though the change isn't temporary, either, which could significantly decrease Schroder's fantasy value.
