Thrives in spot start
Sharpe logged 14 points (6-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals in 30 minutes during Friday's 119-99 loss to the Wizards.
Analyse
Sharpe moved into the starting lineup for the first time this season, replacing Nic Claxton, who was ruled out due to personal reasons. As hoped, Sharpe rewarded anyone who had him in their active lineup, falling one rebound short of what would have been just his second double-double of the season. He added four combined steals and blocks for good measure, a reminder of what he is capable of when afforded starter-level minutes. Claxton could return as soon as Sunday, meaning Sharpe's standard league run could very well end at one game. With that said, he is worth keeping a close eye on, just in case his role elevates at any point.

Starting sans Claxton
Sharpe is starting in Friday's game against the Wizards.
Analyse
The big man is getting a crack in the first unit in the absence of Nic Claxton (personal) on Friday. It'll be the first start of the season for Sharpe, who averaged 17.0 points, 15.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 steals in 30.8 minutes per game covering a pair of regular-season starts in 2024-25.

Logs career high in assists
Sharpe closed Thursday's 120-96 loss to the Rockets with eight points (4-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), eight rebounds, seven assists and two steals across 19 minutes.
Analyse
After shooting 1-for-3 from the field across 12 minutes in Monday's loss to Golden State, Sharpe bounced back and provided a solid all-around effort Thursday. The big man recorded a team- and career-high seven assists, dishing out at least five dimes for the third time this season. Sharpe continues to see relatively consistent playing time off the bench behind Nic Claxton, and the former has averaged 7.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 17.8 minutes per game over his last five outings.
