While the Wolves fought hard in this one, late-game execution was again an issue, and the result was Minnesota suffering its third straight loss. "I'm not a moral victory type of guy," Edwards remarked after the game, per Chris Hine of the Minnesota Star Tribune. "Nah. We lost. Got our a** kicked, again, by them. I hate it." The Wolves will look to right the ship Saturday against the Celtics.

Hits for 43 points in OT loss
Edwards chipped in 43 points (16-29 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 6-8 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, one block and three steals across 40 minutes during Monday's 117-112 overtime loss to the Kings.
Analyse
Edwards turned in a majestic number despite another late collapse for the Timberwolves. All of Minnesota's standouts are playing well, but the team's inability to close out games is emerging as a pressing problem. Although Edwards missed four games earlier in the season due to a hamstring injury, he's averaged 28.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.1 steals over the 10 games since returning to action.

Drops 43 points in OT loss
Edwards totaled 43 points (16-29 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 6-8 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block in 40 minutes during Tuesday's 117-112 overtime loss to the Kings.
Analyse
Edwards turned in a complete performance, leading Minnesota in scoring while also finding ways to contribute across the board. He's put up two straight 40-point games, responding nicely from a brief cold stretch in which he was held to 32.4 percent from the field in his previous two appearances.
22. November 2025
Drops in 41 points with four steals
Edwards piled up 41 points (14-24 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 8-12 FT), five rebounds, four assists, four steals, one block and five turnovers across 40 minutes during Friday's 114-113 loss to Phoenix.
Analyse
Edwards had been struggling mightily in his previous three outings, converting just 33.3 percent of his shot attempts while going 2-for-23 from three-point range, but he got things back on track in a big way Friday night as he tied his season high in points. Despite a herculean effort from Edwards, the Wolves weren't able to take home the win, and they're now 0-6 this season against teams over .500.
