Clubs third homer
Pena went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run Monday in a loss to the Cardinals.
Analyse
Houston was nearly shut out, but Pena helped the team avoid that outcome with a three-run blast in the ninth inning. The long ball was his third of the campaign and his first since April 3. The knock also extended Pena's modest hitting streak to six games, during which he' s batted .304 (7-for-23).

Pena went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored, a walk and a stolen base in Wednesday's 7-6 loss to Seattle.
Analyse
Pena doubled on a line drive to lead off the ninth frame, and he wound up coming around to score on a wild pitch after stealing third base. The 27-year-old shortstop is off to a slow start at the plate, slashing .186/.286/.349 with two solo homers over 49 plate appearances, but he does have six runs scored, four walks and four thefts through 12 contests.
