Sorare 27 Pitch Notes: New UI, What’s Coming Next, and a Message from Tulga
Season 27 just kicked off, and we’ve been reading every comment since the new UI launched. Since Tuesday we’ve shipped a batch of fixes, and there’s a bigger round of navigation improvements landing soon. Here’s what changed, what’s next, and a personal note from our Product Design Lead.
Already Live
Since Tuesday, the team has been working hard to address the friction points you’ve flagged. Your feedback, especially when it’s constructive and specific, is exactly what drives this list. Thank you for taking the time to share it.
We’ve resolved a number of bugs and UX issues, including:
- Clearer competition icons for All-Star, Contender, and Rest of the World

- Bigger buttons across the board: scarcity, mode, competitions, format, missions, and more

- Better separation between Leaderboard and Streaks lineups for MLS in My Lineups

- More lineups per row on larger screens

These were the issues we wanted to tackle immediately, and we’re continuing to refine the experience.
Tulga’s tip for building your lineup: Try building lineups directly in the lineup builder view. It takes about the same number of clicks as last season, the dropdowns just moved from the top left to the mode buttons below.

Coming Next: Smarter Defaults
We’re teaching the product to remember where you were, instead of dropping you back at square one.
- The Play page will keep your place when you switch between Pro and Arena. Toggle back and forth without losing your spot.
- Arena will open on the upcoming Game Week by default, not the live one, so you land where you actually want to play.
- My Lineups will send you straight to your Arena lineups if you don’t have any Pro lineups yet, instead of showing you an empty tab.
Coming Next: League and Competition Picker Polish
Picking a competition should feel effortless.
- The Choose League picker will only show competitions relevant to the scarcity you’re playing, cutting the clutter.
- Classic Arena competitions will get better sorting, so the ones you care about surface faster.
- Competition icons are getting a spacing and sizing pass to feel less cramped.
A Message from Tulga, Our Product Design Lead
Hey managers,
Thanks for the honest feedback on the new UI. We hear you, and we get that the change can feel disorienting. Many of the fixes and quality of life improvements you’ve raised are already in progress.
A word on MLS and K League specifically. They still run on the Sorare26 Game Week format, which is why their streaks ended up in Arena. We know it’s confusing, and it’s a tradeoff we had to make while moving part of the product to the new structure, while some competitions stay on the old one.
With your help, we’ll improve it over the next few weeks. Please stay patient, keep the feedback coming, and know we’re listening and noting down everything.
