Road to America: MLS Special Edition Cards are here
The biggest football event on the planet is coming to North America this summer. MLS was always ready. Every weekend you’ll find players from dozens of nations competing side by side in this league, players who crossed continents, earned their spot, and never stopped carrying their flag. This summer, they don’t just represent their club. They represent their country. The tournament arrives in their cities, their stadiums, their backyard.
Introducing Road to America: an exclusive MLS Special Edition card drop celebrating the league’s global DNA and the players who were already here, already battle-hardened, ready to step up on the biggest stage football has to offer.
Cards are on the market from Thursday April 16th to Tuesday April 28th.
The Cards
Every MLS player card gets the Road to America treatment: a unified design built around an Americana aesthetic, bold flag imagery, patriotic colour palettes, and dynamic graphic compositions across all four scarcities (Limited, Rare, Super Rare, Unique).
But for 30 selected players, one per MLS club, we went further.
30 MLS players have been given an exclusive Flag Bearer treatment: a special photograph of each player holding the flag of their national team. Already here. Already proud. Already ready.
What’s up for grabs
🏆 The Road to America Championship: Win a trip to the USA this June
We said there wouldn’t be another Championship this season… we saved the best for last.
Running across four MLS game weeks, the Road to America Championship gives one Manager the prize of a lifetime: an all-inclusive trip to watch the world’s best play in the USA in June 2026. 2 match tickets, and up to €2,500 in travel expenses (including flights, accommodations and meals).*
The match? France vs. Senegal on June 16th.
Winners are solely responsible for ensuring they hold valid travel documents, including any visa or entry authorisation required to enter the United States. Sorare will not be liable for any inability to travel due to documentation issues.
And that’s not all, finish 2nd to 20th and win a mystery signed jersey, 21st to 50th and win a mystery jersey.
Mystery jerseys are selected from available stock and will not be MLS jerseys.

During the 3 Game Weeks, you’ll have access to a mixed Limited & Rare leaderboard with the following rules and prize pools:

- Each Rare In-Season card in your lineup earns a 60% reward bonus — each Rare Classic card earns 15%
That means a full Rare In-Season lineup earns 4X the base prize pool rewards.

⏰ Game Week 71 (April 17–21) Late Deadline
As an MLS fixture is taking place Friday night, Game Week 71 won’t have the usual Saturday 4PM late deadline.
Instead, and exceptionally, we’re setting the deadline to Friday April 17 at 11:59 PM CET, giving you as much time as possible to check the news and set your lineup.
This late deadline applies to the permanent MLS competitions, the Road to America Special Event, and the MLS Championship.
⚡ Special Missions
Road to America Missions run throughout the event, rewarding Managers who keep their Special Edition cards in action.
On every MLS game week day, a special mission will be waiting for you:
Pick up to 3 Road to America Special Edition cards (including the Flag Bearer Editions). If they outperform their L10 average by 20 points, you’ll win 200 MLS Essence per pick, and if all 3 come through, you win 1,000 MLS Essence
🔨 Crafting
During the event window, until Tuesday April 28th 11:59 PM CET, MLS cards that are crafted will come out as Road to America Special Edition cards (when available).
Their cities. Their stadiums. Their moment. The cards are on the market. Time to get yours.
*”All Inclusive” means that the prize covers travel, accommodation and meals up to a maximum total of €2,500 for two persons. Any costs beyond this amount, as well as all other personal expenses, remain the sole responsibility of the winner. Either Sorare will cover such expenses directly by handling the relevant bookings, or the winner will be reimbursed only upon presentation of valid supporting receipts. Reimbursement is strictly limited to the expenses described above. In the event that the winner is unable to attend the event, or if the event is cancelled or rescheduled for reasons beyond Sorare’s control, Sorare reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative reward of equivalent value, up to €2,500. No cash alternative will be offered beyond this substitute reward, and the original prize components (travel, tickets, accommodation and meals) shall be deemed forfeit.”
