European Nights Are Back on Sorare
The best clubs in Europe are about to battle it out under the brightest lights of the season, and of course, the excitement lives on Sorare too.
Here’s everything you need to know about this season’s European gameplay.
In-Season
European In-Season gameplay breaks down by scarcity: Hot Streak Boards for Limited and Rare cards, and a Leaderboard competition for Super Rare and Unique.
Limited & Rare — 4 Hot Streak Boards
4 boards in total, each with its own top prize pool:
- European Champion – Limited board, open to Limited and Rare cards with a reward bonus for Rare cards, for the UCL competition, powered by Opta
- European Champion – Rare board, Rare cards only, for the UCL competition, powered by Opta
- European Contender – Limited board, open to Limited and Rare cards with a reward bonus for Rare cards, covering the EL and CL competitions combined, powered by Opta
- European Contender – Rare board, Rare cards only, covering the EL and CL competitions combined, powered by Opta
On both Limited boards, mix Limited and Rare cards as you wish, and enjoy a reward boost for every Rare card you play in your lineup, stacking up to a maximum 2X boost:
- +40% for an In-Season Rare captain
- +15% for other In-Season Rare cards
- +10% for a Classic Rare captain
- +5% for other Classic Rare cards
The two Rare boards are Rare-only, offering even bigger rewards.
Play lineups with a minimum of 4 In-Season cards and up to 1 Classic card.
For this first phase, boards run from September 8 to November 6, covering half of the league stage matchdays.
Below are the rewards for each board in Limited and Rare for this first phase.
The Rare-only boards apply a 10% scarcity scoring bonus, which accounts for their adapted streak targets. This bonus doesn’t apply on the mixed Limited and Rare board.
You can also play Super Rare and Unique cards on the Hot Streak boards: they’ll get the same reward bonus as Rare cards on the mixed Limited and Rare board, and the same 10% scarcity scoring bonus on the Rare-only board.
European Champion Boards
European Contender Boards
European Champion Essence rewards are Champion flavored Essence. European Contender Essence rewards are All-Star flavored Essence.
The targets and rewards above are only valid for these boards, running through November 6. Gameplay for the following phase will be shared ahead of time.
Board Rules and Features
These boards follow the same rules you already know from the Pro boards:
- Anytime Entry: play when you want, wait for official lineups if you prefer, and add or edit your team as long as your first player hasn’t played yet
- For each level, you have 4 lives to succeed, meaning up to 4 lineup attempts to hit the target and move on to the next level
- Scores are validated approximately 5 minutes after the final whistle of a match
- You can’t cancel an active lineup but you can forfeit a step and go back to step 1 at anytime
- Pre-set lineups available
Note that there’s no step clock on these boards: since they run for a limited time and cover only a handful of matchdays, you can take all the time you need to clear each level within the board’s active window.
European Boosted Cards
Special cards carrying a scoring boost, valid only on these European boards, through November 6, will be available to reinforce your lineups.
These cards aren’t required to enter any of the Hot Streak boards, but they’ll give you a scoring bonus to help you hit your streak targets on the 4 boards.
Special card drops will land throughout the European matchdays notably via flash sale, starting with the first drop on Tuesday, September 8, ahead of the opening matchday.
The scoring bonus scales with the player’s team draw pot, meaning even the competitions’ underdogs can be smart picks to help you hit your targets.

Super Rare & Unique — Leaderboards
Super Rare and Unique Managers will compete on leaderboards, following the regular Game Week cadence.
- Same In-Season & Classic card rules as standard In-Season gameplay: play up to 2 Unique Classic cards in your lineup, OR 1 Super Rare Classic + 1 Unique Classic, OR 1 Super Rare Classic alongside In-Season cards.
- Unique Reward bonus: 80% per In-Season Unique card, 20% per Classic Unique card.

Classic Gameplay
In addition to All-Star and U23 competitions, you’ll be able to play your cards involved in European action across two dedicated leaderboard Classic Arenas: European Champion Classic and European Contender Classic.
- Enter up to 4 lineups per scarcity
- Compete on the leaderboards for All-Star Essence and cards
And of course, the Arenas stay open throughout the event, so you can keep battling other Managers for rewards and enter as many teams as you like.
