But as every fan knows, championship teams are built in the offseason. That’s why we’re already hard at work preparing for the next season of Sorare: MLB.
Let’s take a look back at the 2024 season, review what you can expect this offseason, and peel back the curtain on our key focus areas for next season.

With over $175,000 in total rewards and hundreds of cards up for grabs, the competition was fierce!

2024 Season Recap
In a season that helped redefine fantasy baseball, Sorare MLB pushed the boundaries, transforming how fans interact with America’s favorite pastime. This wasn’t just another year of gameplay—it was a step forward for sports engagement, strategy, and community.
Let’s take a look back at the past season 👇
Monthly Chases
Throughout the season, we rolled out several exciting gameplay updates. A major highlight was the introduction of Monthly Chases, which brought multi-gameweek showdowns with enhanced prize pools. Chases quickly became fan favorites, offering both fierce competition and substantial rewards.
Some memorable Chases included:
- 100k Summers Heating up July Chase: This mid-season event brought the heat with its six-figure prize pool, energizing our community during the dog days of summer.
- The Road to Glory August & September Chase: As teams fought for playoff spots, our Managers battled it out in this extended competition, mirroring the intensity of the MLB pennant races.
- The 175k+ Championship Chase: Our biggest event of the year coincided with the MLB Postseason, offering massive rewards including special edition cards and unforgettable gameplay as the baseball season reached its climax.
Special Weeklies
We also shook things up with a fresh slate of Special Weeklies, offering unique challenges and prizes from Game Week 16 to the end of the regular season. Special Weeklies provided Managers with exciting new ways to strategize and compete for higher stakes.
Let’s take a look at some of our Manager’s favorites:
- Reverse Power: This innovative format flipped traditional scoring on its head, rewarding small ball tactics over power hitting. Singles and doubles became significantly more valuable, encouraging Managers to rethink their lineups and strategies.
- Aces High: Focused on the league’s top pitchers, Aces High elevated the importance of pitching performance. With innings pitched worth more points, this mode challenged Managers to prioritize their ace pitchers for maximum scoring potential.
- International Icons: Celebrating talent from around the globe, this competition featured players born outside of the U.S., showcasing the diversity and skill present in Major League Baseball.
Collection Events
Not only did we introduce new ways to play, but exciting new ways to collect. With multiple Collection Events, we were able to create a whole new strategy on Sorare MLB, enabling avid collectors to excel.
Special Editions
To celebrate the MLB’s marquee event, we created special edition cards commemorating the year’s most significant moment, The Postseason. This year, Managers had the opportunity to collect the only Special Editions of the year: Championship Chase Special Editions.
Rewards
Sorare MLB rewarded over $1,000,000 in cash and ETH rewards to tens of thousands of Managers who won additional rewards such as Pro Cards, game tickets, VIP Experiences, and much more – including signed merchandise from some of the biggest names in the League!
This Sorare MLB season was a journey that brought together the passion of baseball fans with innovative gameplay and collection opportunities. We celebrated with special edition cards, unique challenges, and rewarding experiences, making it an unforgettable season for all Managers involved. We can’t wait to get things rolling again next season!

Offseason Plans
During this offseason period, we will have a reduced auction schedule over the next few months. Managers will still be able to tactically add to their Collections in preparation for the upcoming MLB season.
Over the winter, we’ll be fine-tuning the MLB product to align with our latest infrastructure improvement. Unfortunately, this means we won’t be offering offseason gameplay for MLB. We’re using this downtime to enhance your experience for next season.

Looking Ahead
We’re already hard at work on plans for next season. Here’s what we’re cooking for the 2025 season:
In support of an evolving competition structure, we’ll be introducing new rewards to Sorare: MLB such as Essence. Essence will provide Managers with a new way to build and manage their Sorare MLB gallery!
Additionally, as the game on the diamond evolves, our game will be evolving as well. To make Sorare MLB as fun and engaging as ever, we’ll be developing new ways for Managers to build teams, compete against other Managers, and win amazing rewards every day 👀.
Finally, in our ongoing commitment to improving the Manager experience, we’re focused on simplifying and streamlining all aspects of Sorare MLB. Over the offseason, we’ll be making improvements to our Common gameplay for new Managers. This will make it easier than ever to convince your friends and family to get in on the action. We’ll also be continuing our work to level up the Sorare mobile app, so that you can be a part of the action anytime, anywhere.
That’s all we can share for now. Be on the lookout for updates and announcements as we enter the depths of the offseason!
